Description

Onan narrates the surreal story of a young man who masturbates and gives birth to a plastic egg (an objet d’art created by Natsuyuki Nakanishi). In the last scene, the young man runs outside with the egg and bumps into a young woman who ignores him. Iimura explains that onanism symbolizes self-destructive behavior resulting from frustration. The film won a special prize at the Brussels International Experimental Film Competition in 1964. With Natsuyuki Nakanishi. Music by Yasunao Tone.
